By building a series of principal models, students explore and understand the operation of simple and compound machines found in everyday life.
The program is divided into 4 sections:
GEARS, WHEELS &AXLES, LEVERS,PULLEYS.
At the end of each section children are given a problem solving activity which they have to solve individually and collectively based on their learning and understanding of the particular topic.
Investigating simple machines, scientific inquiry, speed, fair testing Predicting and measuring, collecting data, and describing outcomes.
Identifying a need or problem, building a model, testing and evaluating.
Counting, calculating, measuring, predicting outcomes, and problem –solving.
